When you are most taunted with challenges, BE STILL.
When the weight of the world seem to be pressing heavily upon your neck and shoulders, BE STILL.
When you just do not know the answers, do not know what to do next,
When there seems to be chaos and confusion all around you, BE STILL.
When you feel alone and boxed into a corner, BE STILL!
When darkness is the only light you can see….BE STILL.
While facilitating a session with Common Ground this statement came up. The discussions shared by the participants were interesting. Suddenly there was silence. A question or actually a need that had been expressed earlier was answered by someone. Again another moment of silence. Understand here that silence is a rare instance with this group. One of the group members observed that the answer came when the group became silent, as we were all being still. It was such an Ah-ha moment. We were each reminded of the gift of just stopping to BE STILL!
Be Still and Know is a scripture that has puzzled many because of the simplicity with which it asks you to not do anything other than BE STILL AND KNOW! There is so much strength in being still. It is relatively easy to take action on something even if it is the wrong action. However to BE STILL requires great strength because it goes against what our society tells us we need to do to resolve all opportunities in life.
Utilize your power to BE STILL AND KNOW!
