Yes we are Spiritual Beings living a human life. As we honor our divine Higher-Self we are to create and maintain balance.
Balance is created when we are open and receptive to all of humanity. Balance is when we celebrate life in various activities. Balance is the desired state of awareness.
Too much of any one thing can cause us to become off-center. On a scale when it is evenly distributed it is in a level mode. Placing too much on either side causes the scale to be unbalanced. Is there any area in your life that you are not attending to?
Are you spending quality time with family and loved ones? This does not suggest that you are obligated to a certain amount of time; it does ask that you share in quality time together. Perhaps it is only a phone call because you live in a different area. It may be short visits because all involved are actively engaged in personal endeavors. Have you said ‘I Love You’ to your loved ones recently? Do you demonstrate love to your loved ones through your actions, thoughts and words?
Are you spending time in increasing your knowledge? This can be accomplished by several methods including observation. I have learned so much by simply observing, especially small children and animals. When you observe nature you are uniting with the very substance that sustains the Universe. I love to look at the trees and plants; to look at the sky and clouds; to walk barefoot in the water at the ocean or lake or watch animals interact. These activities can increase your knowledge when you allow the experience to teach you.
Being balanced means giving proper attention to all areas of your life. Are you taking care of yourself? When was the last time you did something very special for you? Something like buy you some flowers or soak in a bubble bath; take yourself to the movie or out to dinner; going one full day with no criticism nor feeling inadequate.
