The Present Gift is to be fully alive and active in the ‘Now Moment’; to release all attachments to outcomes, schedules, obligations and demands. In other words it means to simply “BE”!
We may experience difficulty in doing this because we have become a society controlled by a clock, a manmade mechanism to guide us through the day. We gauge all our actions by the time, the stroke of the clock.
I personally own several watches but never wear one. I gave up the attachment many years when I attended a class facilitated by Rev. Adunni. I am never late, actually I normally arrive early to all my commitments. For me there is freedom in not always checking my wrist to ’see’ if I am on time or what time it is, but that works for me.
The ‘Now Moment’ is fully lived when I am totally present in whatever activity I find myself engaged in. There is always a gift in that moment of being fully present to it.
Today remember to be completely and actively in ‘The Present Gift’. Unwrap it with the excitement of a child. What is your gift? Do you really appreciate it? Show your gratitude for the contents of your gift, it has come to bless you.
I appreciate the many gifts contained in the individual presents given to me this day. Each one is unique and special, valuable and worthy of my absolute attention.
Today I live solely in ‘The Present Gift’.
